About the role

The RN - Nurse Resident will actively participate in the Nurse Residency Program and provide nursing care to patients within an assigned unit. Responsibilities include observing patients, documenting significant conditions, and notifying providers of any changes in patient conditions.

Are you a new Nurse Graduate? In addition to the specialized training you will obtain as part of the Nurse Residency and On-boarding programs, you will work as a Staff RN fulfilling all routine duties within your assigned unit. We have openings for full-time and part-time positions.

What You'll Need

Associates Degree in nursing required; Bachelors of Science in Nursing Preferred

Current active RN license with State of Colorado Board of Nursing

BLS required.

ALS, PALS required within six months of hire.

What You'll do

Active and engaged participation in Nurse Residency Program

Response to all situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols

Provide nursing care to patients within an assigned unit or cross-trained unit and ability to document using electronic medical record

Observes patients, recording significant conditions and reactions, and notifies provider of patient’s condition and response to drugs, treatments, and any change in patient’s condition

Requirements

Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in nursing and a current active RN license with the State of Colorado Board of Nursing. BLS certification is required, along with ALS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
