The Housekeeper is tasked with maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, focusing on resident/patient rooms, restrooms, and bathing areas according to established policies and infection control guidelines. This role also includes completing resident discharges and preparing rooms for new admissions, as well as ensuring all necessary supplies are adequately stocked.
The primary qualification is the ability to follow policies and infection control guidelines while performing cleaning duties. Preferred qualifications include having a High School diploma or equivalent and prior experience working in a healthcare setting.
Overview The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the facility, including resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines.
Completes resident discharges and prepares the room for next admission. Ensures all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Operates and cares for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.
Qualifications Preferred High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in a healthcare setting. EEO/AA/Vet Friendly
