The Behavioral Health Consultant will provide direct patient care, including short-term targeted psychotherapy for individuals and families, and perform initial and ongoing behavioral health assessments to develop care plans. This role also involves consulting with primary care providers on the behavioral aspects of patient medical treatment within an integrated care model.
Candidates must possess a Doctorate in Psychology with a CA Psychology License, or a Master's degree with a valid CA LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC License, along with two years of pre/post licensure psychotherapy experience with children, adults, and/or adolescents. Current AHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required upon hire.

The Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) will work to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare by providing direct patient care for behavioral health services. This role will meet with individuals and families to provide brief behavioral psychotherapy services to patients and consultations primary care providers using an integrated care model. This is a hybrid position.
The posted salary range reflects the designated pay grade for this position. While this range represents the broader classification of the role, actual compensation will be based on several factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s overall knowledge, skills, and experience, market data and industry benchmarks, internal equity within the organization, Budgetary considerations and organizational needs. As a result, placement within the range is not guaranteed, and the full pay grade range may not be utilized.
