The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced modality, such as Computed Tomography (CT), on adult and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis or treatment purposes. Responsibilities include preparing the patient and equipment, and independently performing studies in various settings including on-call and portable exams.
The minimum education requirement is an Associate or Trade School equivalent, with no prior experience required for this role. Preferred qualifications include less than two years of experience and certifications such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Intravenous Therapy, in addition to the required IEMA license for Illinois.

Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
