The dietitian will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing and implementing personalized dietary plans, and providing education on healthy eating habits. Key duties also include instructing patients on post-discharge diets, monitoring nutritional status, and communicating care plans with physicians and other disciplines.
Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association and hold state licensure, with a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition required. One year of Clinical Dietetics experience is preferred, and membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is desired.
