The counselor will conduct substance abuse assessments using DSM and ASAM criteria, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities also include providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with the treatment team.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work, along with a minimum of three years of experience in substance use treatment or related mental health counseling fields. Required credentials include licensure or certification as mandated by Indiana state regulations, such as LCSW, LMHC, or nationally recognized addiction counseling credentials.
