The Perinatal Sonographer operates ultrasound equipment to create quality images of the unborn fetus and female pelvis under physician supervision, conducting fetal surveillance and antenatal monitoring. This role also involves assisting the supervising physician with invasive procedures and electronically recording images while providing preliminary findings.
Candidates must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in OB/GYN, with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology required. Three years of clinical ultrasound experience is preferred, and Fetal Echocardiography certification is preferred.
