The role involves providing speech and language therapy services to patients of all ages in their homes, conducting necessary evaluations, and instructing families/caregivers to support communication goals. Responsibilities also include developing individualized care plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with other healthcare providers.
Candidates must possess a Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or be in the process of completing CFY. A current Maine Speech-Language Pathologist License and current CPR Certification are mandatory, with experience working with pediatric or school-age populations being preferred.

Conduct screenings, evaluations, direct therapy, consultation, and family/caregiver instruction to support communication goals. Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare providers to support each patients goals. Develop and implement individualized care plans Document progress, reassess regularly, and update goals to promote meaningful communication outcomes. Promote family involvement and education to reinforce therapy techniques outside of sessions.
