The Radiology Technologist will operate radiological equipment for diagnostic and procedural purposes, ensuring proper radiation protection while positioning patients to obtain accurate radiographic exposures. Responsibilities also include timely performance of x-rays, maintaining records, and assisting with administrative functions as needed.
Candidates must hold an active Radiologic Technologist RT(R) license with ARRT and an active X-Ray license in Florida, along with current BLS certification. One year of experience is preferred, and the role requires the ability to work independently, establish rapport with physicians, and possess knowledge of anatomy.

JISF is seeking a Radiographer to join our dynamic team in covering all three of our locations. The ideal candidate has attention to detail, works independently and has a passion for caring.
Under the Direction of the Imaging Manager, the Radiology Technologist will operate radiological equipment for diagnostic, and procedural purposes. The technologist must possess the ability to work without constant supervision of technical detail and build rapport with Physicians they are working with (learn preferences, work flow etc.).
Required Skills/Abilities: Operates C-Arm, pain management injection experience a plus Holds an active Radiologic Technologist RT(R) license with ARRT Holds an active X-Ray license in the state of Florida Holds current BLS certification by the American Heart Association (or able to complete completed within 60 days of hire) Knowledge of anatomy Ability to operate equipment effectively Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and other staff Education and Experience: Must be ARRT licensed Must hold an active X-Ray license in the state of Florida One year experience, preferred Physical Requirements: Standing, reaching and bending Physical strength and agility to position patients for a variety of diagnostic examinations
