The Social Worker will facilitate a Self-Advocacy program across Adult Day program sites, coordinating workshops and yearly projects, while also assisting in providing social skills training in group settings. Responsibilities also include managing intake for new participants and acting as a liaison with internal and external resources while maintaining professional documentation.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. A mandatory requirement is comfort working directly with the developmentally disabled population, along with the physical ability to lift 15 lbs and perform specific physical techniques.
