The Social Worker II PRN is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating individualized and group therapeutic support for patients dealing with behavioral problems, psychiatric disorders, PTSD, substance abuse, and abuse. Essential functions include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, providing crisis intervention, and participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, though a new graduate with completed field education is acceptable. Preferred experience includes two or more years working with the relevant patient population, and state licensure (LMSW, LCSW, or LSW) along with CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification are mandatory.
Plan, direct, define and coordinate individualized and group therapeutic support and services to patients with behavioral problems, psychiatric disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse and physical and emotional abuse.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
