The Technologist is responsible for the daily clinical operations of the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab, ensuring all studies are performed and recorded safely, concisely, and professionally according to departmental policies. This role also involves assuring procedural compliance with all nationally published standards.

Description

Position Purpose

Electrophysiology Technologist in the Cardiac Cath /EP Lab FT Days at St Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA. $20,000 Sign on bonus (To be eligible for the sign on bonus, must have at least 1 yr experience as a EP Tech)

What you will do

  • Is responsible for the day to day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab and ensures that all studies are performed and recorded in a safe, concise and professional manner in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for assuring procedural compliance with all nationally published standards. .

What you will need

Licensure/Certification/Registration: RCES certification preferred. BLS and ACLS thru American Heart Association is required.

Education: Successful completion of an approved cardiovascular program, Radiology program or Respiratory program.

Experience: One year of cardiac cath lab and EP experience is required.

Requirements

Candidates must have one year of required experience in both cardiac cath lab and EP settings, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. Successful completion of an approved cardiovascular, radiology, or respiratory program is necessary, and RCES certification is preferred.
