MRI Technologists are responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners, which includes verifying patient clinical history, preparing, instructing, and positioning patients for their procedures. A key part of the role involves minimizing patient anxiety during the process.
Candidates must be graduates of a JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology or an MRI approved program, with a minimum of one year of recent MRI experience preferred. Required certifications include ARRT certification (and/or MRI Certification) and a Provider BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
