Perioperative Technician

• You are an integral member of the Perioperative Team!
• As a Periop Tech, you will work with Surgical Technicians, OR Nurses, Anesthesia and Surgeons to provide personal and environmental care and comfort to patients undergoing surgery.
• In this role, you will be knowledgeable in both the operation and care of specialized instruments and equipment used by our Surgical and Anesthesia team.
• Periop Tech's are responsible for positioning, lifting, and/or transferring patients as well as cleaning and sterilizing the Operating Room and OR equipment after each procedure.
• You would also help transport specimens, manage inventory, and maintain adequate supply levels.

• This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status.

• Experience: Previous Operating Room, anesthesia tech, or related Health Care experience required.

Education

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Licensures/Certifications: Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
