The role involves providing direct patient care to inpatients requiring hemodialysis, which includes supervising treatments, conducting assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns. Additionally, the nurse will build rewarding relationships with patients by addressing their physical, mental, and emotional needs, and educating staff on hemodialysis care standards and equipment.
Candidates must possess current RN licensures as required by state regulations and hold CPR certification, with ACLS required within one year of hire. A minimum of six months of dialysis nursing experience is mandatory, and one year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting is preferred, with CRRN certification being a preference.
