As a Speech Language Pathologist, the role involves helping patients regain power by addressing communication and swallowing disorders through designing and executing effective therapy plans. Responsibilities include the efficient delivery of rehab services, teaching patients and caregivers necessary skills for independence, and collaborating with peers.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly titled area acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Additionally, applicants must be licensed, certified, or credentialed as required by the state where they practice.

1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. 2. Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.
