The specialist is responsible for increasing utilization of MO HealthNet and MC+ programs and promoting primary and preventative healthcare services to decrease health disparities. Key functions include identifying and enrolling eligible clients, promoting services at Swope, and accurately tracking and reporting outreach activities monthly.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a community organization, which can be partially substituted by college education. Candidates must possess experience and sensitivity when dealing with minority and indigent populations and have knowledge of MO HealthNet programs.
