The OR Nurse initiates patient care through the nursing process across the preoperative, inter-operative, and postoperative phases of surgical patients. This involves managing simultaneous tasks, analyzing clinical information, and taking timely action based on physician guidance.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse License, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. The role requires the ability to work independently, use sound clinical judgment, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
