The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate residents' conditions related to swallowing or cognitive deficits and implement individualized treatment plans to improve their functioning and independence. Responsibilities also include educating residents, caregivers, and coordinating diagnostic swallowing procedures with other professionals.
Candidates must possess an active/valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and be in good standing with all regulatory agencies. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting is preferred, along with current knowledge of treatment practices.
