The Physical Therapist will conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized plans of care, providing skilled therapeutic interventions to improve patient strength, balance, mobility, and independence in their homes. Key duties include assessing fall risk, recommending home modifications, documenting progress, and educating patients and caregivers on safety and exercise programs.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and hold an active Kansas Physical Therapist license through the KSBHA. Essential qualifications also include strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication and time-management skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently in a home health setting.
