The specialist will provide case management, conduct intakes, develop care plans, and assist the team with daily data tracking and monthly reports across various settings like clinics and community locations. Responsibilities also include documenting in the electronic health record and accompanying clients to meetings to advocate for their needs.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with certification as a Peer Support Specialist or actively working towards it, and being over 18 years old with lived experience in recovery or incarceration. A valid NC driver's license is mandatory, and prior case management experience is preferred.

CHA is hiring a highly motivated, creative and flexible peer support specialist to work within various settings including clinics, community, detention center and harm reduction wellness clinic.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified as a Peer Support Specialist or currently working toward certification as a Peer Support Specialist by the governing agency required. Must be over the age of 18 and living in recovery from mental health/substance use disorder or lived incarceration experience. Prior case management experience preferred.
Valid NC driver's license. Certified Peer Support Certification, CPR certification desired.
