This position involves patient care directed toward pediatric critical care areas, step-down areas, and general care areas. Responsibilities include performing and recommending procedures across all areas of bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, respiratory diagnostics, and all levels of mechanical ventilation.
Applicants must possess a high school diploma/GED and be licensed by the ASBRT and registered by the NBRC or credentialed as a Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS). Required clinical experience includes functioning in critical settings with mechanical ventilation support, and strong communication skills are necessary for the fast-paced environment.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: HS/GED Required. Must be licensed by the ASBRT and registered by the NBRC or credentialed as a Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) by the NBRC. PALS, NRP and ACLS required by the end of 6 months. Certification of BLS is preferred for hire processes and required within the orientation period, not to exceed 90 days of hire or transfer.
