The role involves practicing autonomously and collaboratively to manage patient health problems, performing comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and managing illness and disease. Responsibilities include developing care plans, utilizing prescriptive authority, and enhancing the quality of nursing practice.
A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience functioning as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care setting is required, along with computer literacy and current Nurse Practitioner certification. A Master's or Doctoral level education as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
Practices autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to treat and manage patient's health problems and serve in various settings as researchers, consultants, and patient advocates for individuals, families, groups, and communities. Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and manages illness and disease. Performs other duties as assigned.
