The Physical Therapist Assistant will deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore optimal physical function. JOB SUMMARY We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and in alignment with each patient’s physician-approved plan of care.

Key responsibilities

Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist and physician care plan.

Help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore optimal physical function.

Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training, muscle re-education, and use of prosthetics.

Administer physical therapy modalities such as heat/cold therapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hydrotherapy, and massage.

Observe and report patient progress, responses, and changes in condition to the PT and care team.

Educate patients on safe and proper use of mobility aids and assistive devices.

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.

Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and in‑service training.

Perform additional related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Licensed PTA in California.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation.

Pay Range

$44 - $50 per hour
