The Medical Technologist provides expert-level clinical medical technology testing services across pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic phases, performing various tests on body fluids to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include verifying test procedures, reporting results, maintaining records, following quality control protocols, and assisting in resolving technical issues.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related field, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience performing clinical hospital laboratory work. Applicants are required to be nationally registered or licensed as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist.
Provide expert level-clinical medical technology testing services. Perform services in all areas involved, including pre-analytic, analytic and post-analytic testing, while maintaining the policies and procedures of the laboratory and complying with all regulatory requirements.
