About the role

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will conduct examinations, manage sick calls, and prepare discharge plans. They will also provide medical support for residential and detox services and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (PRN) Location: Concord, MA

Hourly Rate: 135 per hour and up (Based on credentials and experience)

Our client-centered approach and passionate leadership team position us as a trusted leader in addiction treatment, empowering individuals to reclaim their freedom and build healthier futures.

We are currently seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our exceptional behavioral healthcare team. This role offers flexibility while providing meaningful clinical support to clients throughout their recovery journey.

Key responsibilities

Conduct history and physical examinations, review lab results, monitor blood levels, manage sick calls, and prepare discharge plans (including physician orders and prescriptions when prescriptive authority is held).

Provide medical support and resources for adult residential and detox services.

Coordinate care with primary care providers and psychiatrists as appropriate, in collaboration with the nursing team.

Partner with nursing staff to ensure medications are cost-effective upon discharge and assist with prior authorization requests.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Massachusetts.
