• Purpose: - The Behavioral Tech II - Shift 3 for Our Turning Point Ranch at LifeStream plays a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of clients. This position involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic interventions, monitor client progress, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all individuals receiving care.
• Key
• Responsibilities: - Monitor and supervise clients to ensure their safety and well-being during the assigned shift. - Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and recreational activities. - Implement and support individualized treatment plans as directed by clinical staff. - Document client behaviors, progress, and any incidents accurately and in a timely manner. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support for clients. - Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision to enhance professional skills and knowledge. - Respond to crises and emergencies following established protocols and procedures. - Maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic environment within the facility. - Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to foster a supportive and respectful atmosphere.
• QualificationsRequired
• Education: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Associate's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
• Required
• Experience: - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting. - Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. - Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation practices.

• Abilities: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. - Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations. - Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
