Responsibilities

  • The Radiographer/CT Technologist, under the direct supervision of the Medical Director of Radiology and Administrative Director of Radiology, are responsible for providing high quality images for interpretation by the radiologist to aid in patient diagnosis.
  • To provide all services necessary within the organization and Department of Radiology to insure proper patient care while obtaining requested radiographic examinations.

  • The compensation range for the role is $43.84-$51.57 hourly + $1.50 IV Cert factor.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology Program. Bachelors’ degree preferred. (New Graduates must have a letter from the radiology program stating they meet graduation requirements and provide diploma within 3 months of hire if diploma is not available at time of hire).

  • Experience: Six months CT scan experience preferred or completion of CT training program inclusive of didactic and clinical rotation or commitment to complete the Garnet Health CT Scan training program.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an approved Radiologic Technology Program, with a preference for a bachelor's degree. Required certifications include a New York State Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT (R), along with additional certifications within specified timeframes.
