The role involves performing a variety of Radiology Technology procedures while exercising professional judgment according to established protocols. The technologist must provide appropriate care for all patient populations and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of recent Radiologic Technologist experience, and IV certification is required if applicable to the role. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory, with specific timelines for new graduates to achieve registration.
Experience: Minimum recent one year Radiology Technologist experience preferred
Education: IV certification (if applicable)
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) or AART or AART eligible technologists hired upon graduation must be certified and registered within 12 months of the hire date to remain employed. The first attempt to certification and registered must take place within 3 months of their hire date. BLS Certification by American Heart Association preferred upon hire, required in timeframe specified in CPR (BLS)/ALS/PALS Policy.
