The Ultrasound Tech will create quality ultrasound images for obstetrical and gynecologic physicians to interpret during exams, ensuring good image quality for diagnosis. Responsibilities also include identifying normal and abnormal results and assisting with ultrasound-guided diagnostic procedures for high-risk pregnancies.
Candidates must possess a two-year allied health degree followed by the successful completion of an approved one-year Ultrasound Technology program. A minimum of two years of experience in the field and current registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) are required.
