The Medical Assistant supports patients and their families before, during, and after visits by working alongside clinical personnel to ensure smooth clinic operations. Key duties include rooming patients, taking vitals, preparing rooms, performing office-based testing under supervision, and coordinating patient care logistics like referrals and authorizations.
Candidates must possess experience with office medical procedures, knowledge of insurance operations, EMR, and scheduling software, along with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or passing the MA examination, and strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

IMS is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Medical Assistant for our Sun City Primary Care clinic. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing support by assisting patients and their family members before, during and after their visit. Medical Assistants work alongside doctors, nurses and other clinical personnel, performing functions that help the clinic run smoothly.
