The NCS Tech performs nerve conduction studies, gathers patient medical histories, and monitors patient status during procedures. They are also responsible for documenting findings, maintaining equipment, and reporting results to physicians for analysis.
Requires a high school diploma and preferably ABEM or AAET certification, though six months of relevant experience is acceptable. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to follow HIPAA guidelines in a fast-paced environment.
IMS Care Center. is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Nerve Conduction Study Tech in our Neurology clinic. The NCS Tech is responsible for providing support by assisting patients and their family members before, during and after their visit. The NCS Tech will work alongside doctors, nurses and other clinical personnel, performing functions that help the clinic run smoothly.
