The Staff Nurse coordinates and organizes clinical patient care within the practice, which includes monitoring supplies, triaging inquiries, administering medications and tests, and developing comprehensive plans of care based on individual patient needs. Duties also involve recording patient data, coordinating follow-up care, and educating patients and families regarding treatment and discharge planning.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing, though a Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with up to two years of post-degree coursework or internship and less than one year of previous experience. Required credentials include a current NY State Registered Nurse License, BLS Certification from the American Heart Association, and an Infection Control Certificate.
