ACC believes that our employees are our greatest assets. What does a Therapist at ACC do?
• Provide crisis intervention, individual, group, conjoint and family therapy.
• Carries a client caseload not to exceed the appropriate number set by the Program Coordinator.
• Works with people from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds in a treatment capacity.
• Assess, formulate and implement clinical assessments, treatment plans.
• Responsible for clinical case record-keeping for each case assigned, in compliance with funding source requirements and procedural policies.
• Attends regular clinical staff meetings and supervision for discussion of treatment of client cases.
• Participates in in-service programs and seminars to increase skill level and improve service delivery to clients.
• Maintain productivity of direct services at 60%.
• Complete Peer Reviews and work in collaboration with the Quality Department to ensure the standards of the agency
• Participates in 24 hours of Child Specific continuing education training per fiscal year, if applicable. QualificationsWhat do we need from you? Individual must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work or equivalent degree in a field related to mental health from an accredited college or university. Current registration to practice clinical work from the State of Michigan Department of Licensing is required (LLMSW/LMSW/LLPC/LPC/LLP/LP).Must have at least one year of experience in the field of mental health or human services.
