Counselor (Full Time)

Required Qualifications Licensure, Education, & Experience a)Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling ), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC). b)Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by a state wide certification board(CAADC) c)Bachelors Level with a CADC or are working towards a CADC with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience. d)High School Diploma or equivalent with a CAAC e)Current licensure in this Commonwealth as a registered nurse and a degree from an accredited school of nursing and one year of qualifying clinical experience.

• A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulating body and compliance standards.

• Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
• The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to climb stairs, stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
• The employee must seldom lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors.
• This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation.
