Job Description

This UF Regional Physician and CRNA-based practice located in Daytona Beach is a collaborative community practice that covers a level 2 trauma center, a surgery center, and a smaller non-overnight call hospital. This group is seeking to add well-qualified new CRNAs and experienced graduates to our multi-specialty focused group. Currently, each CRNA provides supervised anesthesia for a broad scope of procedures that include Neurosurgery, Interventional Stroke Care, Orthopedics, Vascular, Urology, Colorectal, Ophthalmology, General Surgery (including Bariatric Surgery), Routine Outpatient Pediatrics (over two years), Gynecology, and low to moderate volume Obstetrics supported by a Level 3 NICU. Cardiac Anesthesia is provided by a group of CV trained anesthesiologists with TEE abilities and is currently covered by a group of CRNAs who possess strong clinical skills.

CRNAs are typically allowed to self-schedule 80% of their schedule, and weekend backup call-coverage is split evenly between our W-2 CRNAs, adding up to about 3 weekend calls (Saturday and Sunday) per year.

We add additional call coverage during our two high-volume trauma weeks—Bikefest and Octoberfest.

A sign-on bonus is available for a two-year commitment.

Each team member accrues approximately 8.75 weeks of vacation and holidays each year.

Minimum Requirements

Master’s degree from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia

Educational Programs (COA); Dual RN/ARNP license; certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Individuals who are currently working towards a Master’s or Doctorate degree from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA), Dual RN/ARNP license, and certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and will obtain these items before their start date, will be considered for employment.

Preferred Qualifications

Dual RN/ARNP license in the state of Florida.
