About the role

The Master's Level Outpatient Clinician delivers direct services, which may include individual, group, family, or other authorized therapy services within the outpatient center. Responsibilities also involve participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning and ensuring all treatments are within the scope of the therapist’s competence.

  • OUTPATIENT CLINICIAN **Paid 6 week ramp-up period available for new Full Time and Part Time hires to ensure a successful transition as you build your caseload*
  • Pay: $28.00-$38.00/hour Schedule/Location: Full Time (32 hours/week, afternoons), On-Site

About the Role

Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer Full Time opportunities for Licensed Clinicians or Master's Level Clinicians working towards their licensure in our Outpatient Program in Woburn, MA. Our Outpatient counseling allows our patients to receive treatment options and support within a much more free and open time schedule. While programs are structured, our outpatient counseling is best for those stepping down from a higher level of care, seeking limited treatment options or testing out treatment for the first time. Arbour offers individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, medication evaluation & management, school-based treatment, and elder services within our Outpatient program. The Master's Level Outpatient Clinician delivers direct services to clients, and may provide individual, group, family, or other authorized therapy services within our outpatient center; participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning; and ensures that any treatments delivered are within the scope of the therapist’s training, experience and general level of competence. Qualifications

  • Afternoon availability Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university Need to have completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits Required license eligibility with: LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed) Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills Familiarity with support groups Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation EEO Statement All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.

Requirements

Candidates must have evening availability after 3 PM and weekend availability, holding a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related Mental Health field, including completion of an Internship during the Master's Program. Eligibility for LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure is required, and CANS Certification is preferred.
