The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for providing timely and courteous service by accurately and efficiently performing laboratory analyses for patients, physicians, and hospital staff. This individual must detect unusual conditions and assume responsibility for problem solving.
A Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, or clinical/medical laboratory science is required, along with clinical laboratory training culminating in national certification as defined by the ASCP Board of Registry. Candidates must possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and be proficient with MS Office and relevant computer software.
