This role supports the Health Information Management Department by maintaining paper and electronic health record systems, focusing heavily on document imaging, prepping, scanning, and quality validation for remote coding access. Key duties also include analyzing medical records for completion, managing provider deficiencies, completing vital statistics documentation, and assisting internal/outside agencies with patient record information.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, with two years of experience in a hospital Health Information Management Department preferred, along with proficiency in PC operations and Microsoft Office applications. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of patient information privacy and security guidelines, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to learn and navigate electronic health record systems efficiently.

Education / Experience
