The role involves performing and interpreting diagnostic procedures across all clinical laboratory areas, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood banking. Responsibilities also include maintaining quality control records, assisting with new employee orientation, and providing care to patients across all age groups.
Candidates must be a Registered Medical Technologist holding ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification, and possess a valid Florida AHCA Medical Technologist license. The position may require performing phlebotomy and the willingness to cross-train and float as needed by management.
