The PTA will implement individualized pediatric treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist, focusing on hands-on therapy for gross motor development, balance, coordination, strength, and mobility using engaging, play-based interventions. Responsibilities also include accurate documentation, communicating patient progress to the supervising PT, and partnering with families to ensure consistency of care at home.
Candidates must be a graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and possess an active state PTA license or eligibility for licensure. A strong passion for working with children with developmental and neurological needs, along with excellent communication and clinical skills, is required.
