The Andrologist performs all laboratory procedures in Reproductive Chemistry and Andrology required for an IVF cycle, including semen sample preparation, sperm cryopreservation, and complete sperm analysis. Responsibilities also include assisting the Lab Director with oversight, maintaining quality control, and developing laboratory procedures.
A high school diploma or GED is required, though a Bachelor's degree in medical or biological sciences is strongly preferred. Preferred qualifications include Andrology Laboratory Scientist (ALS) certification or at least three years of experience as an Andrologist in a clinical laboratory.
