The Intake Clinician is responsible for coordinating assessments for incoming patients and starting the admissions process in collaboration with the Intake Specialist. This role also provides technical support for the discharge planning process under the direction of the Intake Director.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services, or be a licensed RN, along with two years of experience in substance abuse or psychiatric treatment programs, preferably including intake/admissions and managed care. A state certification in social work or a clinical mental health field (LPC, LPC-A, LMSW, LCSW, RN, LFMT) is required, along with specific training certifications within 30 days of hire.
Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Human Services field or licensed RN.
Two years in the area of substance abuse/psychiatric treatment programs, including experience in intake/admissions and managed care preferred.
