About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides support to the nursing team by performing essential tasks in the care of hospitalized patients or long-term care residents. The CNA ensures high-quality care by assisting with daily activities and patient well-being.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) PRN

Clark Fork Valley Hospital is looking for a CNA to join our team. Under the supervision of a Nurse or Team Leader, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides support to the nursing team by performing essential, routine tasks in the care of hospitalized patients or long-term care residents. The CNA ensures high-quality care by following established methods and techniques to assist in daily activities and patient well-being.

Essential Duties

  • Assist patients/residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, feeding, hygiene, range of motion exercises, and ambulation as needed.
  • Demonstrate clinical competencies within the scope of practice.
  • Accurately document patient/resident care in the health records, ensuring timely and complete entries.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Support the development and reinforcement of individualized care and education plans for patients/residents and their families.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members regarding patient/resident care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Follow all relevant standards and procedures specific to your work area or specialty.

Minimum Qualifications

Completion of an accredited CNA training program and certification by the State. Preferred 3-6 months of experience in a similar role. Ability to perform essential duties in accordance with safety and care standards.

Schedule- PRN Compensation

$16.50/hr +DOE
