Provides comprehensive care for bariatric and general surgery patients across the surgical continuum, including OR assistance and inpatient management. Manages outpatient clinic visits, pre-operative education, and post-operative follow-up care.
Under the general supervision of a physician or administrator, performs medical examinations, selected diagnostic and therapeutic tasks, and other special procedures to assist in the delivery of medical services to patients. The Bariatric Surgery APP provides comprehensive care across the surgical continuum, including operating room assistance, inpatient management, and outpatient services for bariatric and select general surgery patients.

Days (four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with one weekday off); rotating weekend and holiday call (1 in 5 weekends; 1–2 holidays per year)
