Market context
In Illinois, PRN Medical Laboratory Technician roles are often needed to cover variable shifts and maintain timely specimen testing across patient ages. These openings can be competitive because employers usually want an associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology plus MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent, and they value candidates who can work independently with biological specimens. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm shift expectations and any lab-specific competencies before applying.
