The COTA will implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist, providing skilled OT interventions such as ADLs and fine motor skills in patient homes. Key duties also include educating patients and caregivers on home safety and accurately documenting patient progress.
Candidates must be a licensed COTA in the State of Michigan and possess reliable transportation with a valid driver's license to travel to patient homes. Home Health experience is preferred but not required, alongside strong communication and documentation skills.

An excellent communicator who connects with patients personally.
Capable of working independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
Licensed COTA in the State of Michigan.
Home Health experience preferred (but not required).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel to patient homes within the assigned service area (Wayne, Detroit, Canton, Monroe, Romulus).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Exceptional organization and time management.
Empathy and compassion for patients recovering from injury or illness.
Ability to motivate and encourage patients through rehabilitation.
Focus on evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Provide skilled OT interventions (ADLs, fine motor skills, coordination) in patient homes.
Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, adaptive equipment, and exercises.
Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Communicate status effectively with the supervising OT and healthcare team.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and clinical guidelines.
