The Emergency Department Technician supports RNs and LPNs by delivering hands-on patient care, comfort, and assisting with tasks such as triage, admissions, discharges, EKGs, and blood draws. This role also involves documenting care in EMR systems, maintaining treatment areas, and supporting complex procedures and trauma admissions.

This role includes frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50+ lbs), and high attention to detail in fast-paced clinical situations.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with completion of a Nursing Assistant Program being required, and preferably one year of experience on a medical/surgical unit. Required certifications include a Maryland Nursing Assistant certification and current BLS (CPR).
