Our team on 5 East is currently hiring for motivated, critical thinkers to join our compassionate and collaborative team of nurses! 5 East is a 28 ben unit specializing in Renal, Oncology and Palliative Care.
Our nurses are the backbone of patient care, providing expert clinical support, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and advocating for the needs and concerns of each patient. Our team demonstrates:

Expertise: We demonstrate an expertise in skills including cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, blood transfusions, pain control including PCA/PCEA, chemotherapy and biotherapy administration, peritoneal dialysis, wound care and palliative care.
Collaboration: We work as a unified team with each other and with our patients, families and other healthcare professionals, to provide the best care possible.

Education - ASN required. BSN Preferred. Previously grandfathered active RN’s who graduated from an accredited nursing school as a Diploma RN will continue to have ASN requirement waived.
Experience - Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting required.
Licensure/Certification - MD Registered Nurse or eligible for
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Ability to apply the standards of professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Must possess a high level of organization and communication skills.
