The Pharmacist will accurately and timely verify physician medication orders and actively participate in continuous quality and performance improvement by monitoring critical medication management processes. This role also involves approving the work of Pharmacy Technicians and managing the computerized pharmacy system, including ordering and storing medications safely.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of pharmacy, holding a BS Pharm or Pharm D degree, and possess a current state license to practice pharmacy. Two years of experience in hospital pharmacy is preferred, along with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
